Maria's Current Endeavors: updated May 2025
As someone deeply passionate about music and driven by a desire to help artists thrive, I see myself building a long-term career supporting talent and contributing meaningfully to the music industry. Born and raised in Los Angeles, I earned a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Arts and Opera from USC’s Thornton School of Music, where I also explored the business side of the industry.

After years of performing, I discovered my true calling lies in supporting artists behind the scenes. I’ve worked at Gold’n Retriever Entertainment, the music management and artist consulting company founded by Joe Riccitelli (former Co-President and Head of Promotion at RCA/Jive Records), where I’ve served as both his personal assistant and project manager assistant. In this role, I’ve worked closely with artists, handled day-to-day administrative and assistant tasks, and booked all venues for a Los Angeles and Toronto pop-up tour for the artist St. Lundi.

My background as a performer gives me a unique understanding of an artist’s perspective — I know how important it is to feel heard, seen, and supported. That empathy, combined with my organizational instincts and love for creative collaboration, fuels my commitment to helping artists grow sustainable, meaningful careers.

Her Music Journey

Hi, I’m Maria — a music lover, people person, and someone who’s always been drawn to the magic that happens when passion meets purpose. I started my journey on stage as a performer, but somewhere along the way, I realized what lit me up even more was helping others step into their spotlight. I love being part of the behind-the-scenes process — organizing, planning, encouraging, supporting — all the pieces that help artists feel safe and free to be their best selves.

What matters most to me is authenticity. I believe in real connection, honest communication, and creating environments where people feel seen, heard, and respected. Whether I’m working on a tour, managing day-to-day tasks, or brainstorming creative direction, I bring heart, hustle, and a sense of humor to it all. I’m constantly learning, evolving, and showing up with the kind of energy I’d want to be around. I’m here to build something meaningful — not just for myself, but for the artists and teams I work with.
